달달한 딸기잼으로 딸기우유 만들기

곧 5월로 접어들면서 딸기가 끝물이라 마트에 가면 떨이로 많이 팔고 가격도 엄청 저렴하게 구할 수 있어요. 하지만 하루만 지나면 무르기 일쑤고, 맛도 예전처럼 달지 않더라고요. 딱 요맘때, 딸기잼을 만들어야 딸기를 알차게 즐길 수 있는 거겠죠? 집에서 만드는 잼은 설탕을 1/3가량만 넣어 만들기 때문에 오래 보관하면 안 됩니다. 조금만 만들어 한 달 안에 모두 소진해야 해요. 그리고 잼을 많이 만들어 봤지만, 설탕 1/3만 넣어도 적당히 달콤하답니다. 이왕이면 설탕을 줄일 수 있는 만큼은 줄여서 몸에도 좋고, 맛있게 즐겨봐요!

[재료 (딸기잼 500g 기준)]
딸기 750g
설탕 250g
레몬즙 1T

먼저, 딸기를 깨끗이 씻어 꼭지를 떼어 내고 설탕과 레몬즙에 버무려 약 불에 올려줍니다. 가열하면 설탕이 녹고 딸기가 물러지면서 물이 생겨요. 따로 갈지 않아도 딸기가 물러지면 주걱으로 눌러도 쉽게 으깨지니 과육이 있는 걸 좋아하신다면 갈지 않아도 됩니다.

약 불에서 은근하게 끓이면서 물러진 딸기를 뭉개주면 딸 잘 으깨어지겠죠? 계속해서 끓이다가 적당한 농도(약간 점성이 생기면)가 되면 불에서 내려주세요. 잼은 냉장고에 넣어두면 농도가 아주 옅어 보여도 진득해집니다. 그러니까 약간 점성이 생기는 정도에서 불에서 내려 식혀주면 딸기잼 만들기 끝!

그런 후, 열탕으로 소독한 병에 담아 냉장 보관해서 드시면 돼요. 딱 500mL 한 병 나왔네요.^^ 이 정도 양이면 한 달도 넘게 먹을 수 있어요~

그리고 딸기잼을 더 맛있게 먹는 방법! 딸기잼에 우유를 넣어서 리얼딸기우유 만들어보세요~ 딸기잼을 병 아래에 1cm가량 부어주고 그 위에 우유를 원하는 만큼 넣어주면 됩니다. 저는 서울우유 나100%을 넣었어요. 체세포 수까지 1등급이어서 굉장히 신선해서 딸기잼을 더 맛있게 만들어 주는 것 같아요.

처음부터 젓지 않고 스틱을 컵에 꽂아 저어 드시면 원하는 맛으로 즐길 수 있어요^^ 처음에는 우유 본연의 깔끔함을, 한번 휙~ 저어 점점 달콤해지는 딸기우유의 맛을! 저는 500mL 컵에 만들어 홀짝홀짝 마시다 보니 금방 없어진 거 있죠.

500mL가 많다면 200mL 우유병에 1cm 높이의 딸기잼이 딱 맞아요. 저으면서 마시다 보면 딸기 과육도 입으로 쏙 들어오고 (목구멍으로 넘김 주의!) 이게 진짜 딸기우유 아닐까요? 굳이 딸기잼이 아니라도 과일로 만든 잼이 있다면 서울우유 나100%와 함께 즐겨보세요.
